» Carol331 - Would you know a mainstream publisher from a small press?

Many people don't really pay attention to who the publisher is of the book they are reading. Do you think it matters?

Unless they buy their books from a school book fair, most readers don't have any idea (nor do they care much) which publisher published the book they are reading.

As an author, I don't think it matters where your book is published. It's the marketing that counts - and bigger doesn't necessarily mean better.
